Overview

The Indicators Dashboard gives you a snapshot of how your key risk indicators are performing across the organisation. Use it to quickly identify overdue reviews, spot RAG status trends, and understand which indicators need attention — without having to open individual indicator records. You can reach this page by clicking Indicators in the sidebar.

How to use it

Status tiles

The coloured tiles at the top show key metrics at a glance:
  • Total Indicators — the total number of indicators across all entities (e.g., 9)
  • Overdue — indicators past their review date that need immediate attention (e.g., 9)
  • Red or Amber — indicators rated as underperforming or breaching thresholds (e.g., 5)
  • Green — indicators within acceptable tolerance (e.g., 2)
  • Needs Attention — indicators flagged for follow-up (e.g., 2)
Click any tile to filter the view below to just those indicators.

Dashboard tabs

Use the tabs to change how indicators are grouped:
  • Overview — the default summary with status tiles and a trend graph
  • By Owner — see how indicators are distributed across owners, useful for workload balancing

Indicators Graph

The bar chart shows indicator status over time. Use the toggle to switch between Monthly and Quarterly views. The dropdown filters let you narrow by:
  • Indicator Type — focus on a specific category of indicator
  • Business Unit — filter to a particular business area
  • Team — narrow to a specific team’s indicators
  • Entity — view indicators for a single legal entity

Indicators in detail

The table at the bottom lists individual indicators with their Title, Owner, Type, and Next Review date. Click any row to open that indicator’s full record in the Indicator Card.

Tips & Tricks

Start your day on the Overview tab — if the Overdue count is high, switch to By Owner to see who needs support in completing their reviews.
Use the Quarterly toggle before board reporting to show trends over longer periods. The trend graph is useful for demonstrating whether indicator health is improving or deteriorating.
The graph filters remember your selection within your session. If the graph looks unexpected, check that the filters haven’t been narrowed from a previous view.
The Indicators Dashboard follows the same layout as the Controls Dashboard and Actions Dashboard. If you are familiar with either, you will find this one straightforward to navigate.
